The PTA is excited to announce our first annual CWES Spelling Bee

Who:  For 3rd-6th grade students. Participants will receive a word study list and resources that will prepare them for the CWES Spelling Bee Day. One school champion will move on to the Fairfax County Annual Spelling Bee Competition, part of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, held on March 15, 2020. 

Fee: A participant fee of $10 will be used for awards and Spelling Bee Day expenses (i.e. light refreshments). Families who need financial assistance should contact Dr. Leipzig by January 13th for confidential support.

Registration: Will close on January 17th. Space is limited so register online today!  In the event that registrations outnumber our maximum number of spaces, we will hold a qualifying written spelling test prior to the event.

Spelling Bee Day: Thursday, Feb 27th from 5-7pm in the CWES Library
