Motivation Tips for the Summer

It seems too soon to be saying good-bye.  This summer we have very exciting opportunities for our Canterbury Woods students.

Let's start with BINGO!  We have made two different cards to choose from. Both cards have headings of our Portrait of a Graduate skills - Communicator, Collaborator, Creative and Critical Thinker, Goal Directed & Resilient Individual, and Ethical and Global Citizen. The activities underneath them focus on language arts, math and creative and critical thinking concepts.

Available to download are both bingo boards:  Cougar and Cougar Cub

Each document has the same introductory letter then the bingo board. Please pick the appropriate bingo card to show and share with your students.

There are two levels of Bingo cards - Cody Cubs Bingo and Cody Cougars Bingo. You can select the Bingo card(s) which best fits your children. You will see that the activities are similar from one card to the other, with some slight differences in level of challenge. When children get a “bingo” with 5 in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, please go to this google form https://forms.gle/kkSU79py3zLMoCZZ7 to let us know. Students will receive a postcard from an administrator congratulating them. Children who accomplish a “blackout,” completing every activity on the board, will have their picture posted on the Wall of Fame .

Tweet your projects, videos, pictures, etc. Don’t forget to use
